M. Gavran: Bábka

The play by the extremely successful Croatian author Mir Gavran, who is the only living author to have his own festival, is about a man who, despite his mature age, is unable to establish a full-fledged long-term relationship with a woman. He will be involved in an experimental science project, where a woman-puppet will be custom-made for him. It is exactly the type to meet his requirements, but at the same time, so that they look trustworthy together. They learn to live together. The puppet adapts to its owner most of the time, but a surprise awaits him at the end. He experiences a shock in his own way and that forces him to change his opinion on life, relationships, women.
