The PURE WATER exhibition presents the current work of Lucie Fabova, a painter who this time opens up the experimental part of her studio process to the viewer. The exhibition presents a selection of subtle objects, samples and material experiments that usually remain hidden in the studio space. These are records of the creative process and new forms, which later give birth to more extensive author's realizations. Fabová presents them for the first time as autonomous artistic statements, revealing a sensitive phase of artistic exploration.
The main motif of the exhibition is the element of water. This life-giving substance, which forms a large part of the human body and at the same time carries a rich symbolic plane since time immemorial. Water appears here as a carrier of memory, energy, purification and transformation, but also as an archetypal principle connecting man with nature and the spiritual dimension of existence. The author perceives it not only as a physical element, but also as a certain form of universal force or deity, present in all living things.
The project is dominated by transparent objects created from recycled glass and transparent resin. Their organic, fluid shapes evoke drops, cellular structures, aquatic organisms or natural forms located on the border between the microworld and cosmic space. Light becomes an important element, which permeates the materials, changes their character and creates constantly changing visual situations. Part of the exhibition is a series of gestural paintings, with vibrating phasing of movement, in which the author's gesture gives way to a gentle process of layering and pressing textiles. Monochromatic colors, vibrating surface phasing and organic shapes reminiscent of jellyfish or aquatic organisms create a space for contemplation of pure forms and their changing relationships.
The exhibition follows the author's long-term interest in physicality. The main theme of her work remains man as a living, constantly changing and malleable matter, shaped by the environment, experiences, relationships and one's own mental landscape. Objects act as traces of processes.
Working with recycled materials also forms an important layer. In this way, Fabová naturally connects the personal and spiritual level with the current questions of man's relationship with the environment and the resources that shape his existence.
PURE WATER is an invitation to the space of flow, transformation and sensitive perception. The presented objects and paintings do not create a closed meaning system; on the contrary, they offer an open field of associations.
