With In her inimitable voice, which the New York Times describes as "a soft, dark contralto with qualities one might associate with barrel-aged bourbon or buttery leather," Wright sings with a sublime reflection of the cultural fabric of America. She overcomes social divides with an offer of love and a deep sense of humanity. Their music accepts the beauty of reality and a collective experience of belonging. For listeners, Wright's songs embody a tradition that allows us to always feel at home.
