We invite you to a debate with the great Slovak author Alena Sabuchová, whose new book, Call me Mandy, was published a few weeks ago!
The author won the Anasoft litera literary prize in 2020 for the book Špetuchy.
Call me Mandy is a contemporary story of a woman in the second half of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia. In it you will hear music, tones of love, but also pain, sounds of time and strangeness that make up the world. The narrator of the novel is a teenage girl who is only a girl for a moment in the story, later in it her view opens as a nineties. ..
