The Austrian-Ukrainian society invites you to a festive Evening on the occasion of the 95th birthday of the important Ukrainian poet Lina costs. The poet takes up classic topics of world lyrics, such as nature, whereby this nature takes on Ukrainian features when it comes to the landscape drawn by the reactor disaster of Tschornobyl. Cost kos poetry is also politically committed, but in the further sense of a person's responsibility for his people and his country. This poetry also refers to personalities and works of the visual art to address her own position as an artist. The cost of poetry is religious, but not in the narrow sense of a denomination. After all, it is also love poetry, which always goes beyond the individual feeling of a lyrical ego and which reflects the position in the cosmos. It is a large, female voice from Ukraine that speaks in emphasis, but also with irony from these poems. Program:
