The concert on the climate crisis

No one can escape the climate crisis. Not even Schubert. In their song recital, the musicians Jean Beers, Simon Öggl and Max Bell combine old with new. Songs from Franz Schubert to Alma Mahler are brought into the context of our time through new approaches to interpretation and electronic processing and raise questions, images and solutions to the climate crisis. Romanticism's idealized images of nature meet the harsh reality of its transience in the 21st century; The naked emperors of yesteryear meet their inactive successors: at climate conferences.

And a climate scientist plays her tune - “no one wants to hear her ...”. She asks: “Where should a linden tree go if the earth is burning?”
