About event
The Libor Šmoldas Organ Trio is celebrating a decade of its existence this year and on this occasion invites you to a unique musical experience. During two August evenings, the 18th and 19th, the trio will record a live album - be there too!
Libor Šmoldas with organist Jakub Zomer and drummer Daniel Šoltis will play mostly their own compositions as usual. These are based on the jazz tradition, draw on the blues, funk and soul of the 60s and at the same time seem contemporary and modern. The characteristic sound of the band consists of Libor's guitar, the precise drums of Daniel Šoltis and, above all, the authentic Hammond B3 organ of Jakub Zomer - an instrument that will please every music lover, but you still don't hear it that often in our clubs. The band has already performed all over the world - from the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington to the Melbourne Recital Center to the festival in Yokohama. Although she regularly performs concerts abroad, her performances in Prague have become literally legendary.
