Letní vily Pražanů: Černošice

Commented walk through the villa part of Černošice.

From the end of the 19th century, well-off Prague residents built their summer residences near the capital. Černošice, located in the picturesque valley of the Berounka River, was one of the popular resorts. The authors of the local villas include both the names of not very well-known builders and the names of renowned architects such as František Roith, Jan Kotěra, Osvald Polívka and Karel Stráník. Actress Andula Sedláčková, the director of the Královédvorské železárny, or the discoverer of blood groups, Jan Janský, had a Vilka here.

• Meeting point: Černošice station on the platform where the train from Prague arrives (in its covered part)
• Duration of the walk: approx. 2 hours
• End: Černošice
• The walk does not include a visit to the interiors.
• You can easily get to Černošice by train of the Prague Integrated Transport - direction Řevnice, Beroun.
• Ticket advance sales end one hour before the start of the walk.
• Children under 15 have free entry.
• Tickets can only be purchased on the spot if the capacity of the walk has not been filled.
• Organizer reserves the right to cancel the walk in case of low interest. The participants with the ticket will be informed about the cancellation of the walk and the money will be returned to their account.
