The relationship between Lukáš (Jan Cina) and his mother (Pavla Tomicová) is not easy.
Fifty-five-year-old Zdena (Pavla Tomicová) at first glance leads an ordinary life as a rural postwoman. But it's not easy. The house is falling apart, and cucumbers and television help her ward off loneliness.
Her son Lukáš (Jan Cina) lives in France – successful, happy, distant – at least that's how it seems on the old computer screen, through which they are sometimes in contact.
When Lukáš's grandmother Věra (Věra Janků) expresses her last wish – to see Helena Vondráčková 🥹 – it seems like the whim of a dying woman.
But with Lukáš's arrival home comes a secret that he has carefully protected for years.
His visit sets off an avalanche: it turns out that he is gay and makes a living as a successful drag queen, Chica Checa.
And also that Zdena longs for a different life than those around her expect.
The effort to make a ninety-year-old grandmother happy brings Lukáš and Zdena together... (Falcon)
