About event
Summer cinema with headphones - Princess Kosmolesba
ENG + CZ subtitles
The charismatic bounty hunter Kiki has just broken up with the timid Saira, the daughter of the queens of the planet Clitopolis. When the distraught princess discovers that her ex-girlfriend has been kidnapped by white heterosexual aliens and they are demanding the most powerful lesbian weapon, the royal labryd, she embarks on an inter-gay-lactic rescue mission to rescue Kiki from the clutches of the evil incels. The journey outside the safe home, on which she meets the optimistic songstress Willow or the questionably macho spaceship, becomes a pilgrimage for Saira to find her true self. The animated sci-fi comedy from creative duo Leela Varghese and Emma Hough Hobbs, which won the Teddy Award at the Berlinale, is a colorful odyssey filled with catchy tunes and sympathetic irony that explores the various corners of the queer universe. (Karlovy Vary IFF)
