Marlene Dietrich is synonymous with the word freedom - whether it concerns love, sex, creation, fashion or politics. What is associated with the 20th century - Sternberg, Remarque, Hemingway, Cocteau, Piaf, Brecht - all of them were her friends. Emigration, confusion of Hitler, nostalgia, constantly professional improvement: How did she think about how she did? From costumes to acting to work with light Marlene Dietrich was driven by an endless desire for perfection and good taste that never betrayed her.
