Leoniden are a German indie-rock band whose name was inspired by a German expression for the Leonids – meteor showers from the constellation Leo. Since their beginnings, Leoniden have gradually won their place on the music scene and especially in the hearts of their fans.
The band released their debut album "Leoniden" in 2017, and a year later followed it up with a second album called "Again". They released their last album "Complex Happenings Reduced To A Simple Design" in 2021, and fans and music experts agree that Leoniden not only surpassed all previous albums with their third album, but also paved the way for success with it.
The record contains 21 tracks, which as a whole represent a breathtaking album, a ride on amphetamines, fireworks of compositional madness and iconic split seconds that you can't get out of your head. Leoniden have finally found their own sound, and by putting all their raw energy into it while avoiding compromise, they've earned the status of one of Germany's most innovative, genre-bending bands.
