On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Lenka Panušková (Institute of Art History AS CR) and Daniel Soukup (Institute for Czech Literature AS CR) will present a recently published book Reflecting Jerusal in Medieval Czech Lands. The event will take place in the lower hall of the ASCR (Florence 1420/3, Prague 1) from 5 pm, entry is free and without registration. The volume thus deals with Jerusalem as an idea or idea and monitors its development across various forms of art and verbal art to capture the largest spectrum of paintings of Jerusalem in medieval Czech culture. The publication contains essays from several medievistic disciplines that process bohemical material from different perspectives.
