Professional photographers - A close collaboration with the Vinyl & Music Festival

The vocational school has been combining chemistry, graphics and creative professions for several years (JungeFotografie, JFK16) a close collaboration with the Vinyl & Music Festival. It is a loving homage to the entire vinyl community and this year also a memory of Erwin Bock, a passionate music lover and connoisseur who left us far too soon in August 2025.

The focus of this year's project is the task of portraying vinyl collectors. It's not just about depicting external characteristics, but above all about making the personality of the people portrayed visible in the pictures.
The resulting works are an essential part of the festival's cultural supporting program. They build a bridge between music, collecting culture and photography. This project offers the young talents valuable practical experience, direct contact with people from the collecting scene and the opportunity to present their results to a wide audience, while giving the audience the opportunity to experience the love of vinyl from a new, artistic perspective.

The students deal intensively with the topic of personality portraits. You will learn how to photographically capture the collector's individual relationship to their passion, their records, through image design, lighting and expression.
