6.47am - departure by express train from Prague, hl.n.
* possibility to arrive by road: Prague - Holešovice 6.57, Prague - Podbaba 7.02 Kralupy nad Vltavou 7.19, Roudnice nad Labem 7.44, in Lovosice at 7.59 and Ústí nad Labem at 8.16
* break in Ústí nad Labem - possibility of refreshments
* 9.19 - from Ústí by direct train to Dresden
* 10.24 - arrival in Dresden
Transfer with a public transport guide (included in the price of the trip) to the Loschwitz district. Crossing the Blue Miracle bridge to the cable cars. Possibility to take the oldest cable car there and back (optional), - nice view, we recommend, then take the ground cable car. Transfer to the center of Dresden, visit Pfund's dairy (the most beautiful in the world)
Kunsthofpassage - modern courtyards and houses in the Neustadt district. Each courtyard has its own theme and shows this in its facade design. Blaues Wunder - Blue Wonder
This suspension bridge was built in 1893 and is called a "miracle" because it did not need any bridge pillars in the Elbe stream, which was an unprecedented technical solution at the time. And the word "blue" is in the name quite unimaginatively according to the color of the paint. This bridge was the only one in Dresden to survive the Second World War unscathed, thanks to the courage of several citizens who prevented the Wehrmacht from blowing up the bridge.
The oldest cable car in the world and a ground cable car
Dresden's remarkable cable car, reminiscent of a railway carriage. It has been running since 1901 suspended on one rail on a 274-meter-long route. The cable car has been running here for even longer, since 1895. From the upper station there is a wonderful view of the Elbe valley. You can also see the historic center of Dresden with the dominant Frauenkirche church.
