The uniqueness of the performance will lie in the fact that the ensemble will perform in Prague, Brno and Ostrava, the largest Swan Lake in the world.
48 swan ballets on stage is a record in its own way. The usual number of white swans in the performance "Swan Lake" is 16-24.
The performance will also be accompanied by the Festival Orchestra.

Shocked and struck by the inhuman aggression of the Russian war against Ukraine, the famous ballet company St. Petersburg Festival Ballet will change its name to International Festival Ballet. The ballet company is now based in Germany.
With this change, the artists express their unwaveringly clear position. The International Festival Ballet is an international ballet company that has a transnational essence and thus expresses understanding and coexistence in the poetry of art, music and dance. Since the beginning of the war, artists expressed their stance against Russian aggression with numerous protest actions before each of their performances (EuroNews report here: https://fr. euronews.com/2022/03/02/le-saint-petersbourg-festival-ballet-se-positionne-contre-la-guerre-en-ukraine ). That is why they are now threatened by Russia itself. The troupe, which includes a large number of Ukrainian dancers, perceives itself naturally as a ballet of peace and cohesion among all people.
Artistic ballet represents the school of classical ballet in its purest form. Austere elegance combined with modern and 21st century influences, this is above all a first-class dance performance - all combined with magnificent costumes and monumental sets.

The troupe toured with great success in the USA, Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Finland, Portugal, China, Brazil, Mexico and other countries.
