🌼Introduction to playing the GONG🌼
Gong is an ancient instrument that began to be used more than 5000 years ago. Many of us have encountered gongs on our travels to Asia or watching old Hollywood movies, but the reality of gongs is still unknown to most people.
Over the past 30 years, the use of gongs has undergone a major transformation, and the instrument is finding its way around the world to systems of personal development, healing, meditation and yoga.
Our workshop was designed to introduce the gong and the different directions one can take when playing the gong. We will work on a set of several gongs from the best European manufacturers. This includes, for example, the Rare KARMA Gongs set consisting of a 41-inch titanium gong and a 41-inch bronze gong by Martin Blasé, the latest evolution of the ancient and cosmic materials involved in gong development. Personal contact with the gongs is an important part of our training. You can also meet Paiste Gongs and Oetken Gongs.
The workshop will be held in the circumpoint center in Bratislava, Mlynské Nivy 80c
This training is intended for complete beginners in playing the Gong. You will get to know the technique of playing hand gongs as well as hanging and larger gongs.
Price of training: EUR 280

The training will be guided by:
🌟Brij Allen Mahajan - Brij has undergone many years of training in playing the gong under the guidance of teachers such as Don Conreaux, Surana Malek , Tom Soltron and Abby Del Sol. By combining knowledge gained over the years and his experience, he developed the practice of Gong meditation throughout Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
The training will be in English, translated into Slovak.
