We started this last summer and it is becoming more and more clear to us that a swinger is alive not only by swing and that insight into related styles not only inspires, enriches and unblocks us, but is also really fun! ❤️🔥
We are therefore continuing the trend that has started and we want more, more, MORE! 🔥🔥🔥
☝️ Honestly: we do this for ourselves. 😇 That's why you'll meet our lecturers in the role of students on the course, and that's why we didn't even ask if you wanted that too. Because we do. 😁 But if you want (and we think you have a reason), you can join us, we will be happy.

SPRING DATES OF LESSONS are divided into a course (6 lessons) in May and June and 3 one-off lessons in March. May is so far away and we can't wait!

🤩 WHAT'S ON THE PLANS? 🤩
This season we want to break into house dance.
🫶 We invited a great external teacher, Kristy, who is well trained and well trained, and also knows our swing, so she understands us very well.
🫵 IS IT FOR ME? 🫵
It is if you like to dance and want to be able to do it, even if Count Basie isn't playing.
🤸♂️ We take into account that we have different paces of learning and different dance and movement experiences. To master the basic material, it is enough to know where your limb is, but even as a more experienced person you will not be bored.
🧐 WHAT IS IT FOR? 🧐
We want to open the door to a style related to swing, even if it doesn't seem like it at first glance. You'll make connections, you'll understand where things came from and where they're going, you'll open the door to a deeper understanding of dance.
🪩 And you'll also get steamy, and the next time the DJ goes crazy and starts playing suspiciously modern music at midnight, you'll know what to do.
💸 WHAT THE HELL? 💸
The course consists of six intensive two-hour sessions, that's a total of 12 hours, i.e. the same as our standard course.
🤝 That's why you pay for it like any other course: 3100 NOK at full price or 2800 NOK with an early bird discount, less if you're studying, you're already taking a course with us, or your children are coming to us, if you're over 65 or for a long-term stay with us you are volunteering.
⚖️ If you have limited time options (or like us, you want to start in March), you can also come once. You pay (in cash or via QR code) 540 for one lesson, or you can use it as a substitute for two absences from another course.

SPRING CLASS DATES consist of a course (6 classes) in May and June plus 3 single classes in March, because May is way too far and we can't wait that long!

This season we're delving into House dance.
🫶 To do that we've invited an amazing guest teacher Kristy who has a fair amount of dancing and teaching under her belt and as a bonus knows enough about swing to really understand us.
🫵 IS IT FOR ME? 🫵
It is, if you like dancing and want to be able to do it even when the music isn't necessarily Count Basie.
🤸♂️ We're aware that everyone's pace of learning as well as dance and movement experience is different. To keep up with the basic material it's enough to know where all your limbs are but you won't be bored even if you're a more experienced dancer.
🧐 WHAT IS IT FOR? 🧐
We want to open a door into a style that is swing-adjacent, even if it's not obvious at first glance. You'll connect some dots, see where things came from and where they're going, unlock a deeper understanding of the dance.
🪩 And you'll also get to party, and next time the DJ goes wild and starts playing suspiciously modern stuff right around midnight, you'll know just what to do.
💸 HOW MUCH IS IT? 💸
The course consists of six intensive two-hour sessions, that's a total of 12 hours, just like any of our standard courses.
🤝 So you'll pay as much as for any other course: CZK 3,100 at full price, less if you're a student, if you or your child are already taking other classes with us, if you're over 65 or are one of our resident volunteers. (or like us you want to start in March), you can also treat this as a drop-in class. The price of a single class (cash or QR code for Czech accounts) is CZK 540,– or you can use it to substitute two missed classes from another course.
