About event
FROM SECES TO PINK TANK - topics from the history of 20th century art
18 lessons take place every second Monday from 7 p.m. The duration of the lesson is 60-90 minutes. The first lesson starts on September 28, 2026.
Art history courses have been taking place in the unique environment of the main hall of the Winternitz Villa since its opening to the public and have been very popular. Lessons are led by experienced and kind lecturers Mgr. Máša Pivovarová, Ph.D, PhDr. Eliška Zlatohlávková, Ph.D., Mgr. Kristýna Jirátová, Ph.D, who not only have knowledge, but also try to bring you current news about news, context, or exhibitions related to the given topic. Before each lecture, you will receive an electronic outline of the given lecture, which will help you orientate yourself in the topic and also serve as an archive of the material covered. As part of face-to-face teaching, it is also possible to view the premises of the villa and the current exhibition.
PRESENT TEACHING - complete package (possibility of physical presence in the villa and online license)
- Access to the lectures directly in the historic hall of the Winternitz villa.
- Outline of the lectures in electronic form - we always send 1-2 days before the lecture.
- Stream the lecture in real time with the possibility to watch it from the comfort of your own home (if you are ill or don't feel like going to the villa).
- Video recording of the lecture available for the next 7 days after the lecture on a special page with your access details.
