About event
Do you have curious people at home who always like to discover something new? Do new attempts keep them awake, are they always discussing something and asking a lot of questions? When we were little, we were the same. We have therefore prepared a series of workshops where young participants can try out various scientific principles, put together their own electronic kits, find out how 3D printing works and many other cool things, while the workshops will be led by a great lecturer!
The workshops are SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN FROM 9 YEARS OLD.
Due to great interest, there is also the possibility to register a child from 5 years old to the club, but ONLY if he participates in ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT who will actively help him. Due to capacity reasons, after purchasing a ticket, CHILDREN UNDER 9 YEARS OF AGE, accompanied by an adult, MUST REPORT TO veronika@lab.cafe. An adult companion does not need to buy a ticket.
SOLDERED LIGHTHOUSE
In this workshop you will dive into the world of electronics and find out how lights can move according to your commands. With the help of soldering and simple electronic components, you can assemble your own circuit, which will start flashing in different ways. With the switches, you can set different flashing modes - for example, like firemen's, policemen's or ambulance's beacons. You will see how the NE555 and CD4070 ICs work together to flash the red and blue LEDs. The workshop is ideal for curious minds who want to find out how things work from the inside.
