About event
The first day of the Steps of Understanding program will include practical activities, movement, being outside and a shared experience in nature.
Under the guidance of a physiotherapist, children and their parents will participate in activities that support independence, coordination, perception of their own body and coping with common daily situations. We will connect movement, practical activities and play in such a way that children can try, discover and experience success at their own pace.
The day will also include being outside and a shared barbecue, which will naturally support cooperation, communication and moments together between children and parents.
What a child can experience:
movement, practical skills, being outside, joint activity with a parent, support for independence and the natural joy of mastered steps.

Place: Materské centrum Pastierik, Tomášikova 35, Košice / exterior according to the program
Contribution: €8 / 1 child + 1 parent
The Steps of Understanding program is a summer support program for a child and a parent. It is also open to families with children with disabilities, ASD, NKS or a higher need for support. The parent is part of the program so that he and the child can experience activities that promote understanding, security, contact and joint discovery.
Ergotherapy and outdoor movement are only the first day of the whole week's parts. In the following days, music therapy, art therapy from natural materials, sensory integration outdoors, Snoezelen, sensory games, practical tips for parents and the production of simple aids await us. You can register only on Monday, choose other days according to your family's needs, or complete the whole week.
