About event
We cordially invite you to a guided tour of the exhibition Lucie Rosická - Laundromat: Program for gentle treatment and the launch of the publication, which will take place on Wednesday 20 May from 18:00 at the Trafo Gallery.
The author Lucie Rosická will guide you through the exhibition⚡
⚡The Laundromat project approaches the space of a self-service laundromat as a contemporary metaphor for care, routine and daily repetition, but also as a place where personal experience is transformed into an image. The exhibition follows the transformation of a self-portrait, which here becomes a direct, unflinching and fragmented record of an inner state.
⚡ The guided tour will offer an insight into the author's creative process - from working with digital "glitches" as a sign of fatigue and disintegrated identity to the creation of textile objects and installations that explore the body, transformation and the cyclical nature of everyday life.
The evening will also include a baptism publication that accompanies the exhibition.
We thank the Trafo Gallery partners: City Hall of Prague, Canadian Medical, ČEZ Group, Hospodářské noviny, Seznam.cz, Art District 7, Art Revue, Radio 1, Kudy z nudy and M0ST Nápoje / Beverages s.r.o.
