Kráska z Leenane

The cohabitation of a mother and daughter in the Irish countryside is disrupted by an uninvited suitor.

Do you know what Vital is? And do you know that it only takes a moment and there are fluffs and frozen porridges from Vital for that? Maureen, Mag, Pat and Ray know all this, and they also know very well that the dog has bitten in Leenane, Ireland, and it is necessary to shake up the stagnant waters here!

Beauty from Leenane was one of the three productions recommended in 2023 by the jury of the Prague amateur theater show POPAD for the regional round to Volyn. The play also won the Raguenovin Editor's Award for the best production at the Pilsen Useless Talk Festival, which took place for the first time in the same year as the Czech national round of FEMAD. Petra Pátková and Michal Platkevič won the second places for the best female and male acting performance. The game also received second place in the audience vote and in the main competition.
