We cordially invite you again to the travel presentations Cesta necesto in Košice, where you will see 3 presentations from 3 different worlds. Mili will take you to tropical Samoa, with Miš you will discover beautiful and steep hikes and hot springs in Taiwan and volcanoes in Indonesia, and with Janka and Milan you will climb the 7134-meter Lenin Peak in Kyrgyzstan.
18:00 Jana Vaňková and Milan Dobda - Ascent to Lenin Peak (7134 m)
We met in the Tatras and 3 weeks later we went on an expedition to Lenin Peak in Kyrgyzstan. According to Google, this mountain should be one of the easier ones. But when we arrived at the base camp, we met the reality. Avalanches, falling stones, frequent rescue operations, constantly changing conditions on the glacier, countless cracks, but also a lot of fun. How did this expedition turn out? You will learn that at this lecture :)

Listen to the story of the experiences of five weeks in Taiwan - an island of nice people, challenging hikes and of beautiful hot springs, around which I walked in a counter-clockwise direction, looking mainly for mountains and natural beauty. Did you know that Taiwan's highest mountain is 3952 meters high, and that the hikes on the island are some of the toughest in the world? Often From Taiwan, we move to Indonesia, where I climbed volcanoes in Java (Arjuno, Bromo, Batok, Raung, Ijen), Bali (Agung), Lombok (Rinjani) and Sumbawa (Tambora) during the month.

20:30 Milada Konečná - Samoa - an unknown pearl of the Pacific
Teleport with me to a paradise on earth called Samoa, thousands of kilometers away. We will cross the two main islands together, sleep in small wooden cabins directly on the most beautiful beaches in the world, where we will taste coconuts straight from the surrounding palm trees, visit lava-covered villages, but also get to know the dances and traditions of the kind-hearted local people.
