About event
🔹 In the month of books, we invite you to an evening with philosophical dialogues over coffee or tea, in which we will look together at one of the most important human abilities - reading.
2026 inclusive.
INFO: https://link.akropolis.sk/c1oagh
🔸 Thematic circles for dialogues:
▪️ Books, their importance in history and in the age of digital media
▪️ Reading and its irreplaceable role in every person's life
▪️ Reading with comprehension and deep reading or "prompt engineering"?
🔹 Reading is undoubtedly one of the most important human skills, taken for granted today - but is it really that obvious?
🔹 Because experts point out that reading comprehension, reading between the lines or deep reading are far from being at the former level. Let's see together why this is so, what and how we can or should do about it.
🔹 We will open the evening with a short talk on the theme of the evening - we will look at books and reading based on historical and modern approaches and works, also through the reading of excerpts.
▪️▪️▪️ You will be accompanied by the head of the Košice branch, Mr. Rastislav Harčarufka, lecturer at Nova Akropolis, who graduated from the program of studying Eastern and Western philosophy, psychology, ethics and symbolism. He leads courses and lectures, in which he takes advantage of many years of pedagogical and professional experience and experience in the integration of knowledge from various fields (science, technology, ethics, history, philosophy and psychology). 13, Košice
