Saxophonist and composer Yvonne Moriel is one of the most interesting protagonists of the young Austrian jazz scene. Yvonne Moriel, who was awarded the Austrian Jazz Prize as Best Newcomer in 2024 and became part of the renowned support program New Austrian Sound of Music 2025/26, represents a new, open generation of jazz musicians. With his sweetlife quartet, he combines modern jazz, dub-music influences and electronic sounding spaces into exceptional and distinctive sound experiences. After the first EP (2024), her debut album was released at the end of 2025.

Die Saxophonist und Komponistin Yvonne Moriel zählt zu den spannendsten Protagonist*innen der jungen österreichischen Jazzszene. Ausgezeichnet mit dem Austrian Jazz Prize als Best Newcomer und Teil des renommierten New Austrian Sound of Music-Förderprogramms 2025/26, steht Moriel für eine neue, offene Generation von Jazzmusiker*innen. Mit ihrem Quartett sweetlife verindet sie modernen Jazz, Dub-Einflüsse und elektronische Klangräume zu einem unverwechselbaren Sound. Nach ihrer EP (2024) erschien Ende 2025 das Debütalbum.
