About event
On Saturday 23.8, come to HW Laba to repair your electronics, toys, textiles or household things! Experienced repairers will be waiting to guide you by repairing - so we do not wear the Café stuff as a repair shop, but together we are involved in repairing things.
This is how we gain a direct experience of whether things can be repaired or cannot be repaired, what is and what is not safe to fix itself, what are the typical problems of a particular appliance or thing, and what are the different ways to fix them.
We will of course involve technologies available in HW Lab, such as 3D scanner and 3D printers or laser for spare parts and prostheses.
By repairing ourselves, we are expanding our knowledge of engineering and at the same time extend the life of consumer goods, which is a key aspect of circulatory (circular) economy. As part of the event, there is also a home entertainment, which you can either reward the Master for help or just bite if you are looking for you during the repair.
The event is free and refreshments are for a voluntary contribution.
