The island of Rügen, a popular holiday destination in former East Germany, began to attract investors after the unification of the country. It will become a göhren village resort with a limited space for the local community? The felled forest, where all the children from Göhren played, alternates a luxury hotel with a cable car. A giant parking house tasted for 80 years, a plan to create a spa resort on the most beautiful beach in the village. Behind all projects is the investor Wilfried Horst, to whom the management of the municipality has been meeting for many years. But the Cup of Patience of the Local is overflowing and the municipal elections are coming. The story of the power of local activism was filmed by Göhreny native Christoph Eder.
