This year, the Chamber Soloists of the CNSO will perform as part of the International Music Festival of Prague Promso. A few years ago, the great idea of ​​Jan Hasenöhrl and the concert master Alexei Rosík was born from the top players of the CNSO chamber ensemble. Since then, the ensemble has played a number of successful concerts and has been accompanied by several excellent soloists such as Lucienne Renaudin Vary, Jiří Houdek or Alexei Rosík. They will present Romanian folk dances of Béla Bartók, which the composer wrote in 1915. This work is the composer's first orchestral composition, which he composed before his studies at the Leipzig Conservatory and whose premiere he conducted in December 1877. It composed it in the summer of 1890 and donated the work to the St. Petersburg Association for Chamber Music as a thank you for becoming an honorary member. Souvenir de Florence is a composition full of love, joy, but also inner religion to Florence, the Tuscan metropolis, in which Tchaikovsky so glad, enchanted by the architecture and atmosphere of the city, stayed. strings
