About event
We have prepared four guided tours with the author of the exhibited photographs, the leading Czech documentary photographer Karl Cudlín, and the curator of the exhibition, Michaela Sidenberg. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of the creation of the photographs and the exhibition itself, and to hear personal stories connected with the author's more than thirty years of photographic wanderings in Israel.

The exhibition presents a representative selection from Karel Cudlín's work focused on documenting changes in life in Israel. Through nearly two hundred photographs taken between 1996 and 2026, it offers a unique journey across the country from the Golan Heights to the Sinai, while recalling a number of significant moments in modern Israeli history. The exhibition was created in cooperation with the photographic association 400 ASA on the occasion of the publication of a photographic publication of the same name, to which the text was contributed by the Israeli journalist and writer Tsur Shezaf.
