Guided tour of the altars of St. Ignác of Loyola and St. František Xaverský with art historians Petra Oulíková and Filip Poddalem
Ivan Pinkava with two central places in the Jesuit tradition of the Church of the Holy Salvator near Charles Bridge. These are chapels and their altars, which end both side ships of the temple and are reserved for both main Baroque heroes of the early journeymen - St. Ignáci from Loyola and St. František Xaversky.
The altar image of the vision of St. Ignác is currently at restorers who conduct a detailed survey. Not only about the latest knowledge around this oldest salvator painting (1603), but also over the overall genesis, iconography and decoration of both chapels, we will meet on a common guided tour with the most competent experts in the history, architecture and art of the Clementinum church: Art historians Petra Oulíková and Filip.
