Centrum architektúry Trenčín (CAT) vás pozýva na komentovanú prehliadku výstavy venovanej bývaniu a architektúre 50. rokov 20. storočia v Trenčianskom kraji. 🧱
🔍 Spoločne objavíme architektonické, urbanistické aj spoločenské súvislosti tohto krátkeho, no pozoruhodného obdobia a predstavíme si jeho významné stavby v našom kraji.
🏘️ Príďte spoznať architektúru 50. rokov ako dôležité svedectvo svojej doby aj ako jedinečné kultúrne dedičstvo nášho regiónu.

📅 Prehliadka patrí do série podujatí Dni architektúry, ktoré sa tento rok venujú bývaniu v 50. rokoch 20. storočia. CAT nimi upriamuje pozornosť na budovy a sídliská, v ktorých bývame alebo okolo ktorých denne prechádzame bez toho, aby sme si uvedomovali ich architektonickú hodnotu.
🇨🇿🇸🇰 Trenčianske Dni architektúry sa zapájajú do 16. ročníka českého festivalu Den architektury, ktorý má tento rok motto „Bydlím, tedy jsem" a prebieha v mnohých mestách v Čechách aj na Slovensku.
Podujatie je aktivitou projektu Centrum architektúry Trenčín, ktorý je súčasťou Európskeho hlavného mesta kultúry Trenčín 2026. Trenčín 2026 finančne podporujú mesto Trenčín, Trenčiansky samosprávny kraj a Ministerstvo kultúry SR. Partnerom projektu je Európska únia.

Centrum architektúry Trenčín (CAT) invites you to a guided tour of an exhibition dedicated to housing and architecture of the 1950s in the Trenčín Region. 🧱
🔍 Together we'll explore the architectural, urban-planning and social context of this brief but remarkable period, and take a look at its most significant buildings in our region.
🏘️ Come and discover 1950s architecture as an important testimony to its time and as a unique piece of our region's cultural heritage.
🎟️ Admission is free.
📅 The tour is part of the Days of Architecture series, which this year focuses on housing in the 1950s. Through it, CAT draws attention to the buildings and housing estates we live in or walk past every day without realising their architectural value.
🇨🇿🇸🇰 Trenčín's Days of Architecture are joining the 16th edition of the Czech festival Den architektury, whose motto this year is "Bydlím, tedy jsem" ("I live, therefore I am"), taking place in many cities across Czechia and Slovakia.
The event is an activity of the Centrum architektúry Trenčín project, part of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026. Trenčín 2026 is financially supported by the City of Trenčín, the Trenčín Self-Governing Region and the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic. The European Union is a partner of the project.
