🗣️During during the tour, you will learn why the exhibition was created on this particular topic. We will introduce 10 studies by various experts in the field of architecture, which will be published in the upcoming first publication of the Trenčín Architecture Center.
📚 The exhibition presents the upcoming first publication of the Trenčín Architecture Center, which is comprehensively devoted to the protection of the architectural heritage of the 20th century in the Trenčín region. The authors look at modern architecture from different perspectives, from institutional protection through historical starting points to current challenges and concrete examples from practice. Panel housing estates, brutalism, department stores, urban units such as Baťovany or the youngest national cultural monument in the region, Children's Town in Trenčín. The exhibition asks questions about the value, memory and responsibility for the architecture that we use every day, but often overlook.
