About event
UPDATE 10/04/2025: the course is already fully booked ... we still have 2-3 places left FOR MEN and the situation will be completely balanced.
In an exceptional case, after consultation, we will also allow registration for someone from MT and the surrounding area who would like to continue the Wednesday L2A courses from 15.4.
Do you know the romantic and sensual dance KIZOMBA? You liked it, but it's not regularly taught in your area and you can't come to our standard courses in Martin every week?
On Saturday 11.4. we have prepared just SOMETHING FOR YOU - a ONE-DAY intensive COURSE focused on the BASICS of KIZOMBA DANCE. The 5 hours of lessons are designed so that after completing them, you can dance Kizomba at a basic level anywhere at a dance event, or further develop your dance at our courses (more information below) or at various workshops and festivals.
The course is especially intended for those who already have experience with some kind of dance, or at least some movement skills from exercise, sports, etc. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO COME TO THE COURSE WITH A PARTNER ... the partners will take turns on the course (it is not mandatory) so that you can try out the acquired experience with several dance partners. The number of participants is limited and we will try to ensure that the number of male and female dancers is equal and you can all dance in pairs.
If you are enchanted by the surroundings of Martin and Kizomba, you will have the opportunity to further develop the acquired basics at our regular Wednesday courses (we plan to open the next Level2A as early as 15.4.). We will also continue with our intensive courses and we will gradually organize another continuation (L2A, L2B ... L2C),
For dancers who have already completed a beginner's course with us in the past (standard or intensive), we offer to complete this intensive course as a repetition with an exceptional 50% discount. 19:00 ... we divided the lesson into several blocks, between which there will be 2 to 3 shorter breaks and one longer 20-minute snack break.
After the workshop, the dance program continues in Martina with a MÁGICO PARTY dance (at 8:00 p.m.), which is preceded by a one-hour workshop for advanced kizombers (7:00-8:00 p.m. not suitable for participants of the basic course ... during which it is better to have dinner or rest before the evening party). More info about the party: https://www.facebook.com/events/1304692378386043
Course price: €46 / person, resp. €80 a couple (the price includes an intensive course + an evening party). Course price €23 for repeaters, or €28 with entry to the party.
IMPORTANT: You must register for the course in advance by e-mail to: kizomba.martin@gmail.com and pay the fee to the account number: SK42 1100 0000 0029 4602 6518 by Wednesday 4/8 (indicate first_surname in the note).
According to the number of registered on Friday 10.4. in the morning we will announce whether it is possible to come directly to the course on Saturday and pay the fee on the spot. The business opens already at 12:45 so that you have time to prepare for the course and we can start on time at 1:00 p.m.
