β§ Musician and vocalist Mayah Alkhateri, who grew up in the United Arab Emirates, created the record with producer Salvador Navarrete, who also performs solo as Sega Bodega full of unfocused and captivating melodies and deeply human emotions.
β§ Kiss Facility released their first EP πsoterec in 2024 and followed it up this year with the long-playing record πhaπ»na. It is inspired by indie rock, the music of the Arabian Peninsula, but according to their own words, also Enya. The album's atmosphere is mainly based on dense guitar riffs, subtle vocals and precisely formulated emotions.
