“Michal Maroši is a person who sacrificed everything to his idea of life. A pusher, a heartthrob without pretence, an athlete and a steamer, but above all a rider who was never afraid."
In the background of the story of one of the most important extreme athletes in the history of the Czech Republic, Michal Maroš, director Martin Vrbicky filmed a feature-length documentary about the fate of an entire generation of people, who has dedicated her life to mountain biking and other extreme sports. Legends such as Tomáš Slavík, Michal Prokop, Eva Adamczyková or Canadians Richie Schley and Brett Tippie took turns in front of the camera. The film is not only a portrait of a man who stood countless times on the edge between life and death, but also reflects his efforts to combine family life with the life of a top athlete.
Admission: €5.
