About event
🎬 Hamnet
Chloé Zhao, USA, 2025, 125 min
When the eternally hungry teacher William Shakespeare meets the free-spirited Agnes, a deep love is born between them and they have three children.
In order to support the family and develop his talent, William spends most of his time in London, while Agnes takes care of the household and children in the countryside, especially the son Hamnet, who wants to follow his father.
However, the family is struck by a tragedy that shakes their relationship. In pain and despair, Shakespeare writes his masterpiece - the tragedy Hamlet, which will become a cure for their sorrow.
