King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard en Barcelona

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have been giving us absolutely everything for a decade. They have not held anything back: twenty-five albums have included the Australian band since 2013. An unparalleled musical production, as if their career were a continuous Japanese-style strike, which in the 2022 edition of Primavera Sound Barcelona allowed them to offer five different concerts without repeating a single song. A milestone, a miracle. Although it is evidently not the numbers that still keep us here by their side, but rather their status as the most fun rock band in the world on stage. What seems like an opinion becomes a fait accompli when you have them in front of you: more than a band, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are an amusement park. Everywhere they go they present themselves with their psychedelic Ferris wheel, their glam roller coaster, their metal bumper cars, their garage trampoline, their punk mirror maze. A fair at every concert.

Two years after their last visit to Barcelona, ​​King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will install their amusement park for three days in Poble Espanyol for a residency where you can spend anything. Stu Mackenzie and company will give us absolutely everything again in the spring of 2025: on May 23, 24 and 25 they will perform in a triple version on their return to Barcelona.
