On November 11th the time for fools and slapstick begins again. But cybersecurity, NIS2 and data regulations are no joke. This time we are using the start of the carnival to present the facts and at the same time to create an understanding of how directives can be translated into concrete measures in practice.

Under the motto "No fool's errand for attackers - secure platforms in a NIS-2 compliant manner" everything revolves around strategies for more security and compliance in modern IT environments as well as the practical implementation of the new NIS2 guideline.

Participants can expect exciting lectures and demos relating to Identity & Access Management, Secrets Management and the secure operation of platforms. Experts will give Practical insights into current security challenges and possible solutions. In order to increase the resilience of critical EU ICT services and infrastructures against increasingly complex cyber attacks, the EU Commission adopted a directive for a common high level of cybersecurity (NIS2 directive) in 2022. This keynote speech provides an overview of the status of implementation of the directive, the applicable NIS2 criteria, the sectors affected by NIS2 as well as the security measures and obligations to be implemented.
