Guided tour of the exhibition with Markéta Čejková
The main topic of the exhibition project is printing on textiles, one of the oldest disciplines of textile production. The topic is viewed from many angles: as a bearer of artistic tendencies, as a material for the production of clothing and scarves that, in addition to the role of fashion accessory, can also become a tool of diverse messages. Each substance has its own production, aesthetic and human story, a unique story in a sense. The exhibition seeks to prove a complex of relationships between printed textiles, fashion, history and also human individuality. The ongoing topic is to monitor the development of individual types of patterns across decades, where art, technical and ideological influences meet.
