You will learn the answers to these and other questions at the lecture of historian and ethnologist Katarína Nádaská.
Mgr. Katarína Nádaská, PhD.
is an award-winning ethnologist and historian who specializes in religious ethnology, ethnomedicine, magic and demonology, Central European contexts of folk culture, and visual anthropology. She graduated from the Department of Ethnology - History at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Comenius University in Bratislava. She worked not only at her alma mater, but also at other universities. She completed several scientific internships at European universities, worked as a curator and literary historian at the Museum of the City of Bratislava and as a professional researcher at the Theater Institute in Bratislava. Currently, she works as an expert in the local government, provides historical consultancy for the field of mass media and film, lectures at several universities in Slovakia and abroad. She is the author of several monographs, scientific studies and popularization articles, as well as co-author of ethnological film documentaries.
