About event
ONE EVENING TWO BANDS - The NEUMONDGANG and the JORIS HERING BAND play live together at the Brickhouse in Berlin.
NEUMONDGANG
The feast for the eyes and ears that the three (Asteriades, Dimitroff, Landers) offer has its world premiere on December 20th, 2015 in the Weißenseer BRICKHOUSE. This evening the singer-songwriter gang will present many of their own and some other songs in German and English. Romantic, funny, longing and likely to be a hit. With voice, with heart, guitar, accordion and percussion. The NEUMONDGANG brings light into the darkness.
Chris Asteriades: vocals, guitar, percussion. #Chris_Boom_Bang, #Sandwichtunes
Alexandra Saschi Dimitroff: vocals, accordion. #DI_GRINE KUZINE, www.kuzine.de
Niki Landers: Vocals. #Tina_Has_Never_Had_A_Teddybear, #Radio_Nemo, #Cultus_Ferox
JORIS HERING BAND
Can you combine borrowings from rock'n'roll, blues and crisp guitar riffs from alternative rock with your own German lyrics? Guitarist and singer Joris Hering and his musicians do that. And they can do even more: With their songs they tell stories of everyday life. Banal, profound, gray, colorful and sometimes full of longing. Stories of love and pain, joy and suffering. Of endings and new beginnings. And suddenly you're in the middle of it all, hearing the nighttime squeaking of the Berlin tram or the sound of rain on the city streets. The JORIS HERING BAND has developed into an energetic rock band that hasn't forgotten the blues. A special live experience arises when the band reinvents their songs a little at each concert, based on the feeling of the moment.
Joris Hering: voc, g
Matti Fuhrmann: dr, voc
AJ Hale: b, voc
