Autumn shoe collection at the City Hall of Košice
Event by: Košice - Mesto Košice
Location: Trieda SNP 1280/48A, Trieda SNP 48A, Košice
About event
NOT EVERYONE HAS A PLACE TO STEP OUT IN THE HEAT. 💔 LET'S HELP TOGETHER BY DONATING SHOES 🥾🙏
For many of us, autumn and winter mean the warmth of home, comfort and the approaching holidays of abundance. For others, however, it represents a daily struggle for dignified survival. This is also why the City of Košice is organizing a charity collection for organizations operating in our city that help homeless people and families in difficult life situations. The goal of the collection is to help them prepare for the cold months and ensure that winter is not synonymous with suffering, but with hope - also thanks to your contribution. 🫶
You can donate:
🥾 transitional and winter shoes (for adults and children),
➡️ sheets, blankets and towels.
👉 Please items in good and working condition. If possible, tie the shoes with laces (for children's models, connect with Velcro).
📍 Collection location: Košice City Hall, Trieda SNP 48/A | Side entrance | Entrance at the entrance to the Košice canteen (dining room)
📅 Collection days: from November 3 to November 14, every day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Every pair of shoes, every blanket means a dignified survival of cold days for those for whom buying seasonal clothes and necessities is not a matter of course. Thanks to everyone who participates. 🙏
