In 2025, the Center for Folk Art Production (ÚĽUV) is commemorating 80 years since its foundation - eight decades of protection, support and development of traditional crafts in Slovakia. The celebration of the establishment of the organization culminates in an exhibition at the premises of the UĽUV Gallery on Obchodná Street in Bratislava from December 5, 2025 to May 29, 2026. The concept of the exhibition follows on from the new publication "ÚĽUV 1945 – 1989. Craft with a brand" and offers an insight into the work of Slovak and Czech designers who collaborated with the UĽUV during this period. The compiler and editor of the publication, as well as the curator of the exhibition, is Zuzana Dedík Šidlíková.

The exhibition offers a view of ÚĽUV as an innovative Czechoslovak project of the post-war era, which brought new ideological impulses to the local environment and emphasized the interesting connections between the effort to preserve the folk tradition and its modernized form. Equally important is the emphasis on the broader socio-cultural context of the institution, which fundamentally entered the history of post-war design under the brand of craftsmanship quality "ÚĽUV", or "ÚĽUV - Beautiful room".
