About event
🎉We invite you to the 34th annual Prešov Jazz Festival!
🎸The first day of the festival will be opened by the young Ukrainian band Hyphen Dash with jazz fusion with hip-hop, electronics and prog-rock.
🎹After them, the energetic organ trio Organic Generation from Poland will perform with a funky live mix of original compositions and jazz standards.
🎤The evening will end with one of the most renowned contemporary Slovak groups - Lash&Grey, who you will see in a unique combination with Martin Valihor, Richard Csin and a string quartet Mucha Quartet.
🎶The introduction of the second day will belong to Alan Bartuš, who is one of the most outstanding jazz artists in the world under the age of 30. He will come to the festival with his father, jazzman Pišt Bartuš, and prestigious American drummer Michael Ode.
🎷Gapa & Mečiar Blues Connection will bring the singer Adema Walkowiak (UK), whose voice will blow you away and won't let you sit down.
🥁The highlight of the festival will be the performance of the phenomenal drummer Jay Kalo, who will bring the spirited energy from Cuba and Spain with his quintet.
🎶But that's not the end! After the main program, we will move to Christiania, where there will be a Jam session, where artists from the main stage always stop too🎙️
