About event
Dreams don't deal with breakouts. They bear witness to who we are, how we live and what we can become. Their messages are sincere, but the language is incomprehensible at first. Behind the seemingly meaningless facade, we find the movements of the mind, which we do not allow attention to during the day, and sometimes also neglected wishes. Dreams show the way to ourselves - if we can read them.
At the lecture we will offer answers to these questions:
👉 How does the language of dreams differ from the language we use in the waking state?
is the interpretation of dreams taking place in the group?
In the second part of the evening we will work with the dream of one or two volunteers. Therefore, bring to the meeting a dream that interests you, irritates or attracts you and that you would be willing to share in the group. founded in 2023 by Jan Puc and Matyáš Starý. The project is based on the belief that to understand dreams we do not need to know either dreamers or complex psychological theories, because we all have the competence to interpret them to a certain extent. It is enough to learn to trust the clues that can be found in the dreamer's experience, and to help him see what he experienced during the night. He teaches psychology and philosophy in Czech and international programs at several universities, works as a therapist, organizes self-development courses and, together with Matyáš Starý, leads a course on group work with dreams.
🙋 Matyáš Starý is a psychologist, psychotherapist and lecturer primary prevention. He has been organizing seminars on dreams and their interpretation for a long time. At the Scout Institute, he leads regular evenings of (Bá)dreaming, where participants enter a dream with the help of poetry. Together with Jan Puc, he leads a course on group work with dreams.
✨Recommended entrance fee is CZK 100. Application is not required. Just come. ✨ The program will take place in the Minuta room on the first floor (room no. 125). ✨
