Jaroslav Šindler Quartet

The

Quartet of Jaroslav Šindler consists of four experienced soloists, Jaroslav Šindler (guitar), Jan Štolba (Tenorsax), Vít Švec (double bass) and Jan Linhart (drums). Their music is the intersection of bright musical careers, stylishly ranging from jazz to funk, from classical music to free improvisation and on. Each musician has cooperated with excellent jazz players (Jiří Stivín, Alan Vitouš, Michel Montanaro, John Serry, Dean Brown, etc.). The quartet plays exclusively the original repertoire, freshly captured on the fjords album . Occasionally, gentlemen also embark on slightly experimental things like dodecaphone functions and other unobtrusive eccentrics.
