About event
👕 Spring SWAP of children's clothes
🗓 Saturday March 14, 2026 | ⏰ 9:00 – 11:30
📍 Materské centrum Pastierik, Tomášikova 35, Košice
You know that feeling when you open the children's wardrobe and half of the things are small?
Some clothes have barely been worn, others have been waiting for months for "what to do with it". And by the time you have time to buy new ones, they are one size bigger.
That is exactly why we organize a spring SWAP of children's clothes. A place where you can pass on what your children have grown out of - and take away what suits you right now.
And even though spring is only two months away, we wanted to let you know in time. So that when you next clean, you can already think about what is worth putting aside. So that you can prepare things that will serve you without stress.
And then come to pick new pieces with a smile - in a community of parents who have the same situation as you.
How does it work?
✅ 1. Sign up using the form
👉 https://forms.gle/sYkeURqpsmq4x7vU8
This will help us estimate the number of people and prepare spaces and selection.
✅ 2. Bring clothes to the center during the week of March 9-13, 2026
🧺 You can drop off items during these hours:
Monday: 10:30 – 11:30 and 16:30 – 17:30
Tuesday: 16:30 – 17:30
Wednesday: 8:30 – 11:30 and 16:30 – 19:00
Thursday: 16:30 – 19:00
On delivery we will check the items and issue you a SWAPÍK - a ticket with a recorded number of items received.
✅ 3. Get SWAPÍK
For each piece of clothing that we include in the selection, you will get 1 SWAPÍK, which you can use during Saturday's SWAP.
Number of pieces = number of tickets.
✅ 4. Come to the SWAP on Saturday, March 14
Exchange your SWAPÍKs for pieces that are right for you.
What can you bring?
👕 Clothing in sizes 68 – 146
👟 Shoes in sizes 22 – 34
🧣 Accessories such as hats, neckerchiefs (max. 2 pieces – without entitlement to SWAPÍK)
Please:
– things must be clean, preserved and suitable for further wear,
– we do not accept: underwear, socks, stockings, toys,
– max. 15 pieces of clothing, of which max. 5 pairs of shoes per person.
👶 Children are welcome - an unguarded playroom will be open during SWAP
🎁 Clothes that are not collected will go to families in need
📌 You can apply until March 12, 2026
Capacity is limited - application:

⚠️ In case of low interest, we reserve the right to cancel the event. In this case, the handed over clothes will be returned or, upon agreement, donated.
🧡 We look forward to seeing you - and to all the pieces that will get a second chance.
