Let yourself be carried away by the atmosphere of the blossoming meadow, the mysterious forest, the picturesque village and the traditional small houses that form the backdrops for the folklore performance of the Spring Ensemble. During the evening, dancers of all generations will present themselves, from children (from five years of age) through youth to adult members of the troupe, and they will bring a diverse range of dances - children's frolics in the meadow, spring carols, carnival merriment and spectacular adult round dances.
The performance will be accompanied by music from Muzika Jara under the direction of Karel Mezera. Together we will embark on a journey across the Czech countryside, from Bohemia through Moravia (Lašsko) to Slovakia (Liptov). The highlight of the evening will be the Česká svatba dance, which will gradually take the audience through the individual parts of the traditional wedding ceremony: Courting, Saying Goodbye, After the Water, Motofork, Roosters, Cepéním, Kotek and Escort.
Dance troupe Jaro led by MgA. Živany Vajsarová has been active in Prague since 1983. During its more than forty-year dance history, the company has won many domestic and foreign awards. He works with dancers from Hong Kong and Japan. He thrilled many viewers in our country and around the world. The ensemble visited, among others, Germany, the Netherlands, Cyprus, the USA, Japan, New Zealand, Hong Kong or Taiwan. And he left a bit of Czech folklore joy everywhere. Folk dance motifs are sensitively staged with an emphasis on the depth of execution of the style of individual regions.
