🎤 Jarné Jazzáky: Michael Mayo (USA)
📅 May 6, 2026
📍 Bratislava - Jarovce, design factory
Jarné Jazzáky are coming back and this time they will bring to the newly opened Bratislava club E11even the extraordinary voice of the contemporary jazz scene, Michael Mayo. 🇺🇸
Michael Mayo is one of the most outstanding talents of his generation. As one of the few singers, he was admitted to the prestigious Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz and during his career he collaborated with names such as Jacob Collier and Scary Pockets. There was also a tour alongside the legend Herbie Hancock.
His debut album Bones impressed with its unique mix of neo-soul, jazz, R&B and hip-hop. On the second album, Fly (2024), he pushes the boundaries even further, combining jazz classics with bold original compositions, and is accompanied by a stellar band (Shai Maestro, Linda May Han Oh, Nate Smith). The album earned a Grammy nomination in the Best Jazz Vocal Album category, while the song Four was also nominated in the Best Jazz Performance category.
🔥 He will perform in Bratislava with his vibrating voice and a three-member band full of top American musicians.
✨ An evening full of improvisation, groove and emotions awaits you, which you definitely don't want to miss.
